Looking back at Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014

While we are still cherishing the extravaganza of the Bangalore Fashion Week, we began to realise that in not more than 12 hours will begin the much awaited Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2015.

So how about reliving some hot moments from the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Spring?

Sequin panels with sportswear influences, head-to-toe digital prints, balanced use of colours and the chic styling and the Snake & Ladder prints by Fashion designer Digvijay Singh were just the beginning of breathless moments on Day 1.

Spotted in Nishika Lulla’s front row were Kalki Koechlin & Tamannah Bhatia. We loved the cute chic look they pulled off.

Fashion is like chocolate, more you have it more you get addicted to it.
Fashion blogger Swati Singh righlty quoted this & without an ounce of doubt we agree to it.

And now some ravishing moments in shades of black… We bet you’ll love these.

Style diva Neha Dhupia while concluding Fashion show by designer Payal Singhal.

In fairytale inspired black & white off-shoulder gown by Junelia Aguiar stepped onto the ramp Diana Penty and she ramp freezed for a moment.

The British high-end label Dorothy Perkins made their much hyped Indian debut and the show was concluded by Kangna Ranaut (The Queesn of most of our hearts.)

Triveni’s love for ethnic wear is no secret and hence some favourite picks!

We owe sincere thanks to Purushu Arie and Jhilmil D Saha for covering such lovely shows on Triveni’s behalf.

Finally some awe-worthy moments with…

Lisa Haydon, who walked the ramp for the label Jade,

Mandira who got the ‘real’ women in her life as models in runway, and…

The pioneer of Indian fashion industry, who received a standing ovation from audience for his exquisite contribution to the industry. This emotional moment  concludes our look back of top-hot moments from Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2014.
